The place I live

     During my studies I have changed flats several times and I have lived in different parts of Poznań (Górczyn, Kopernika, Rataje four times, Ogrody....) but finally I came back to Rataje – Orła Białego. I really like living in this part of Poznań.

     Living there has a lot of advantages, but the most important for me is a proximity to many shops (around my block of flats there’s about 5 supermarkets) and markets with fresh fruits and vegetables. There’s also a climbing wall and a multiplex cinema within a 5 minutes walk. What is more, it takes only 10 minutes to go to Malta where I can not only do some shopping but also walk at the fresh air.

     If it’s up to disadvantages I have to admit that since the Chartowo viaduct has been renovated the communication has really worsened. I have to change the tram at the Starołęka Roundabout, because there’s no tram which goes directly to the center.

     Considering those numerous advantages and only one disadvantage of living at Orła Białego, I wouldn’t like to change my flat, and the repair of the viaduct will end one day...I hope so J

"Sleepy" movie....

     Last weekend I have seen probably the worst film in my life – „Senna”. It was a documentary film about a motor-racing champion – Ayrton Senna.

     I had read lots of great critical acclaims about this film (it has 8.7 points out of 10 at IMDb website) so I decided to watch it even if I am not interested in motor racing. I hoped to see some good episods of his life, maybe some scandals, affaires.... But in fact I saw some archived films interspersed with statements of some people from motor-racing world. They told his whole life , his arrival into Formula One , the changes of teams – generally his entire career....no scandals, no affaires. The film concludes with a San Marino Grand Prix where Senna lose his life and at the end we can see his funeral...

     The film lasts almost 2 hours during which I fell asleep more than 5 times....so if you have some trouble sleeping you should watch this „sleepy” movie....

I know that I should have done this about week ago...but eventually I am here !

I think, I don't have to introduce myself. As you know my name is Daria ;) I'm from Konin (I know, east of Konin Asia begins).

When it comes to friendship...I don't have a lot of friends, just few, the others I would rather call mates. Those few friends are really loyal, and I can always count on them. In fact, we don't see each other very often, as everyone studies, has a job or internship. But we try to organise some meeting every other weekend.   The exception is my boyfriend, who is also my best friend and I see him everyday. Fortunately, we go on very well and we love spending time together.

What is the most important for me, is that I can't get bored with my friends, but on the other hand, I can always count on them if I have a problem, or just want to talk.
